Inlet barb for our Bench top systems. The new inlet barb features an L-shaped layout for tidier tube management and now includes an integrated locking nut to better hold the tubing in place. The inlet barb features 1/4″ threaded male connection for attaching to the Bench top and a 1/4″ barb with locking nut for attaching the tubing.

Inlet barb for our Bench top systems. The new inlet barb features an L-shaped layout for tidier tube management and now includes an integrated locking nut to better hold the tubing in place. The inlet barb features 1/4″ threaded male connection for attaching to the Bench top and a 1/4″ barb with locking nut for attaching the tubing.

TIPS

  • Use plumbers tape on any threaded fitting for a better seal.
  • Remember to first add the locking nut to the tubing and then push the tubing into the barb.
  • Heat the 1/4″ tubing under hot water for a couple of minutes to make the tube more malleable, and then carefully push over the bard and tighten the locking nut to secure.
