PRESSURE LIMITING VALVE
Pressure Limiting Valve for use in conjunction with our under-sink systems when installing in areas with high system / water pressure. The valve limits the pressure being exerted on the filtration system and is installed in between the mains and the filtration system inlet.
- 7.5 LPM at 700 kpa (100 psi)
- Max pressure: 1600 kpa (230 psi)
- Max temperature: 40 degrees Celsius
- Flow arrow indicating the directional flow
Do i have high pressure? As a general rule if your pipes shudder when you turn off a tap then it is likely you have high pressure and a PLV would be recommended for your water filtration system.
TIPS
- Snaplock allows you to install tubing with a simple push and it will lock the tube in place however in order to remove the tube you must release the Snaplock fitting by applying pressure to to collar whist removing the tubing.
- Make sure any tubing is cut straight (at 90 degrees) to ensure the best internal seal when using Snaplock fittings.
